With a guide, you can hike to Sirtsi bog or visit the Alutaguse bear watching hut.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-edhotels-edhotels-accordions accordion left\"><div class=\"acc_h active\"><h3>KIVI\u00d5LI ADVENTURE CENTER \u2013 an adventure park for the whole family and a winter ski resort<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"acc_txt\" style=\"display:block\"><p>In winter, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/seikluskeskus.ee\/en\/\">Kivi\u00f5li Adventure Center<\/a> <\/strong>offers downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as snow tubing and cross-country skiing trails. In summer, there are plenty of activities in the exciting family adventure park. Here, you will find an oil shale mine, zip-lining, a fire academy, a traffic park, a high ropes course on poles, a bike park, and several playgrounds.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"acc_h\"><h3>AIDU WATER SPORTS CENTER \u2013 canals and hiking trails<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"acc_txt\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aidu.ee\/\"><strong>Aidu Water Sports Center<\/strong><\/a> attracts visitors with its turquoise lagoons and various adventures both on water and land. Estonia\u2019s best and most challenging hiking trails are located here. Motorsports enthusiasts are also welcome.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"acc_h\"><h3>ESTONIAN MINING MUSEUM \u2013 museum and extreme hikes, safaris<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"acc_txt\"><p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kaevandusmuuseum.ee\/en\/\">Estonian Mining Museum<\/a><\/strong> in Kohtla-N\u00f5mme offers a unique opportunity to experience the life of a miner underground and enjoy an unforgettable off-road adventure on the mining terrain.<\/p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"acc_h\"><h3>ALUTAGUSE HIKING CLUB \u2013 various hikes and adventures<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"acc_txt\"><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>SCOOTER TOUR AROUND KIVI\u00d5LI<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>Kivi\u00f5li is a young settlement, born nearly a century ago during the explosive development of the oil shale industry, on what was once an empty field. Depending on their age, the roads in the former quarries are either gravel or soil-covered. On our tour, we\u2019ll visit three former surface mines \u2013 K\u00fcttej\u00f5u, Aidu, and Kohtla quarries. Today, they are adventurous areas with interesting terrain.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the shorter route, we\u2019ll pass Sipelgam\u00e4gi and P\u00fcssi ash hill, and we\u2019ll see what the former worker settlements of Kivi\u00f5li and P\u00fcssi look like.<br>On the longer route, we\u2019ll also take a look at Kohtla-N\u00f5mme and its tailings piles.
